The SCA's Five-Year Capital Plan is the guiding tool used by the RES group in determining where new sites are needed. RES also works closely with the New York City Department of Education (DOE) to understand additional needs that may arise. The Five-Year Capital Plan identifies both Community School Districts and Sub-Districts with funded need as well as Borough based analysis of High School seat need. The SCA's RES group actively searches for potential sites within these areas of need.
